EXPRESS DROP-OFF POLICY- From home before you arrive:
1. Put clothing on hangers to prevent wrinkling. Bottoms can be draped over ANY type of hanger. Grab free hangers in our store any time prior!
2. Place a rubber band, string, tape, etc. around the necks of the hangers to create secure bundles of clothing so your items don't get mixed up with other consignors' bundles.
3. Tape ONE paper with your full name and phone number to each bundle.
4. Bring shoes, purses, hats & jewelry in a BAG. Place a paper with your full name inside the bag.
Text the owner for pre-approval to bring more than the normal Limits listed.
FALL/WINTER FASHIONS:
*LIMIT of 25 women's clothing items bi-weekly.
*Bring mostly trendy, casual tops (the best-sellers; the Lake is a casual place)!
*Must be in "Mint" condition & modern (manufactured within the past 3 years).
Women & High School Girls:
*Tops: Must have a sleeve (NO tanks or professional blouses--the Lake is a casual place).
*Bottoms: Must be full-length (LIMIT 4 PAIR BI-WEEKLY due to limited space).
NO professional bottoms--the Lake is a casual place.
*Skirts & Dresses: (LIMIT 6 bi-weekly due to limited space.(NO formals-the Lake is a casual place).
*Layering Pieces & Outerwear: No formal blazers/jackets.
Clothing we NEVER accept due to low popularity:
*Brands displayed at K-Mart, Aldi & Dollar stores
*Items w/out-of-state vacation places, random workplace logos, out-of-state sports teams, themes irrelevant to the general public
*Business professional blouses, slacks, blazers, formal dresses, business suits, work attire like scrubs
*Underwear (bras, panties, lingerie)
*Pajamas, robes, house slippers
*Homemade crafts/fashions
*Profane, political, drug-related fashions
*Scarves, belts, gloves, socks, leggings (workout OK)
*Formal attire for cocktail parties, galas, proms, cruises, formal weddings
Footwear
*LIMIT* 4 pair of seasonal footwear bi-weekly
NO formal or heels/wedges higher than 3". The Lake is a casual place.
Women's sizes 7- 9 are most popular. We accept all sizes, but they don't sell as quickly.
Purses, Bags & Wallets:
*LIMIT* 4 purses and/or wallets bi-weekly
*Clutches must have a strap
Jewelry:
*LIMIT* 12 jewelry bi-weekly (holiday jewelry must be appropriate for the season)
Jewelry we NEVER accept due to low popularity:
*Pendants (must be on a chain)
*Watches
*Body jewelry like belly button or tongue rings and ear gauges
*Clip earrings
Hats:
*LIMIT* 4 bi-weekly - inside rim must be free of stains!
No hair accessories (unless in new packaging)
MEN'S & HIGH SCHOOL BOYS:
*We have a very small Men's section: LIMIT 12 men's items bi-weekly in addition to Women's clothing limit of 25 items.
*Men's sizes L-3X sell the best.
*Tops: Casual & trendy t-shirts, hoodies, pullovers, etc.
